1. The judges decision is final. No correspondence will be entered into, and judges are unable to provide individual feedback to entrants

2. Stray Tracks reserve the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value at their discretion; no cash alternative will be offered under any circumstances

3. The composition copyright will remain the property of all entrants and no claim shall be made on those rights by Stray Tracks; however all entrants agree to the use of their compositions by Stray Tracks for the purpose of embodying said composition within a commercially available recording by the winners of the competition. In this instance the songwriters will be properly credited by name and will be able to claim any statutory royalties to which they may be entitled (i.e. mechanical royalties), provided they are registered with the relevant collection societies. Stray Tracks are not responsible for the facilitation of any registration of entrants as members with any collection societies.

4. The copyright within any material recorded by Stray Tracks under the auspices of this competition will remain the property of Stray Tracks in perpetuity (i.e. for the duration of copyright), and Stray Tracks fully reserve the right to exploit those recordings in any way that is deemed appropriate. The recordings will be registered with PPL. In the event that said recordings are commercially released, any and all revenue raised from sales, and the label share of any performance royalties, will be donated to a charity chosen by the family of Lee Andrews. The performers share of any performance royalties shall not be affected and can be claimed by performers (provided the performers are registered as members with PPL).

5. All songs/compositions entered into the competition must be original works and NOT covers.

6. The copyright on all recordings submitted to Stray Tracks as competition entries remains the property of the entrant; Stray Tracks makes no claim of ownership on entries, however all entrants grant permission for their entries to be used in promotional material by Stray Tracks.

7. No artists currently under contract (recording or publishing) to a major label (or any of their subsidiaries) or under any ongoing contract (i.e. any contract that options future recordings) with an independent label may enter this competition. Stray Tracks reserves the right to disqualify any entrant from the competition without notice, if it is discovered that an entrant is under the auspices of such a contract, or signs such a contract during the process of the competition.

8. All entrants give permission for the full and unrestricted use of their names, image(s), and any branding associated with their artist identity by Stray Tracks for promotional purposes as part of this competition, including any promotional and marketing activities for the commercial release of the recordings made by the competition winners.

9. All entrants must be UK residents and over the age of 18 as of the start of the competition

10. The period for entry to the competition starts at 00:01 on Tuesday 01.10.24, and runs until Tuesday 31.12.24 at 23:59. No late entries will be considered for any reason.

11. Entrants must be available and able to arrange and fund their journey to the final showcase and any other part of the prize that requires them to be there in person. Transport costs and arrangements are not included as any part of the prize
